Megan Feichtner
Senior Group

Tassos Madonis
Senior Group
Tassos has a tremendous amount of coaching experience. He began coaching in 1973 at his alma mater, Western Hills High School and has coached variuos high schools in Cincinnati. Tassos also had two stints at Gamble Nippert YMCA and was the Head Coach at Xavier University for 13 years. He also coached the Sycamore Flying Fish, Anderson Barracudas, and Hy-Crest Swim Club. In 2004, Tassos was part of the US contingent to the Olympics in Athens, Greece. He is the former coach of Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy where he was named Coach of the Year for the Miami Valley Conference in 2012. Tassos was also the Head Coach at the Lakota YMCA and helped build that program up from 36 swimmers to 122 swimmers in one year ! He is currentlyin his 7th year as the Head Coach at Cincinnati Christian School for both the high school and junior high teams.
Tassos and his wife Emily live in west Chester with their 4 children - Kyle (20), Kristin (16), Alex (14, and Alyssa (11).

Kit Carnes
Senior Group
Kit has recently retired after teaching special needs students for 35 years in the Lakota Local Schools system! She and her husband, Pat, reside in Springfield Township.
Cindy Kamp
Red & Black Groups
Cindy has had a long association with the Tigersharks. She began coaching the Red and Black practice groups in 2009. In addition to coaching for the Tigersharks, Cindy has been coaching the GH Gators swim team for about 6 years. She grew up summer swimming for Normandy Swim Club and swam year round for Cincinnati Coca Cola and then finished with the Mariemont Tritans.
Cindy is an Art Teacher at North Elementary in Mt. Healthy. She graduated from Mt. Notre Dame High School and Miami University in Oxford where she swam for the Miami University Marlins Syncronized Team.
Cindy and her husband, Bob have 3 children, all of whom swam for Mike at PCY.
Paul Feichtner
Red & Black Groups
Paul began coaching with the PCY Tigersharks in 2009 as an age group assistant working with the Black and Red groups. Prior to coaching at PCY, he began his coaching career volunteering with the St. Bernard Stingrays while in high school. He was appointed the head coach in 2001 and continued coaching there for three summers. He was also an assistant swim coach with the Roger Bacon High School Swim Team during the 2003-2004 season. He took a brief “sabbatical” from swimming in order to focus on teaching and graduate school.

Gretchen Bloomstrom
Red & Black Groups
Gretchen Bloomstrom was the Head Varsity Swim Coach at Indian Hill High School from 2009-2012. During her career with Indian Hill, Bloomstrom was named CHL League Girls' Coach of the Year and District II Girls' Coach of the Year. During high school, she spent her summers as a pool manager and swim coach for the City of Montgomery Pool and also has experience coaching for Sycamore Flying Fish. Coach Gretchen swam for Sycamore High School and played competitive water polo, traveling to Pepperdine University and the Naval Academy for training camps.
Gretchen teaches AP Junior English at Indian Hill High School and is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she earned a Bachelors degree in English and a Masters degree in English Education.
Gretchen is excited to join the Tigershark coaching team, working primarily with the Black and Red groups.
Bill Profitt
Strength Trainer
Bill has been the strength coach with the Tigersharks since 2005. He served 28 years between Active and Reserve Army, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel 5 years ago. He has been a teacher of Emotionally Disturbed students for over 30 years.
Bill graduated from Xavier University in 1978 and received a Masters in Education from the University of Cincinnati in 1979.
His philosophy as a strength trainer is to prevent overuse injuries, and through strength training compliment what Mike and the other swim coaches do in the water.
Bill has been married to Marilyn Profitt for 30 years, and his son, Jonathan, was a Tigershark. Jonathan is currently attending and swimming for Miami University.
