Equipment List

All swimmers competing for the Powel Crosley, Jr. YMCA Swimming Team must purchase a Speedo Team Suit and agree to wear a team cap in all warm-up sessions and meet competitions.  Team suits are to be worn in all competitions by all swimmers, no exceptions. 

An all-black Speedo Recordbreaker or Fastskin suit may be substituted at a team championship meet.  Team caps are to be worn in all meet warm-up sessions and team competitions.  Caps must be worn in all warm-up sessions. 

Optional red team “Tigershark” drag suits are permitted to be worn in practice sessions and meet warm-up sessions, not in actual competition.  The cost of the suits and team caps are additional costs to the registration fees.

A team Spirit Shirt will be distributed in the fall at no additional cost.  These shirts should be worn at all Sunday Meet Sessions and will be part of the National Team Uniform. 

Drag Suits, Parkas, Team Sweat Suits and additional team shirts are available but not required. 

Additional equipment by practice group is listed below.Kast-A- Way Swimwear will be at the PCY in early fall to sell these items.

All Groups

All swimmers are required to record, keep track and know their own times.

Swimmers are responsible to have all equipment at daily practice sessions after the Kast-A-Way team fitting.  They are responsible for proper care and storage for all equipment.  Names should be clearly written, with permanent marker, on all equipment.  The YMCA has no secure storage for this equipment.  Swimmers are storing equipment at their own risk.
